Abdullah Akpinar is the Founder and Managing Director of PCM LTD, a construction project management consultancy based in Istanbul, since 2013. Prior to this, he served as Board Member and Deputy General Manager of a construction firm in Libya from 2007 to 2013. From 2004 to 2007, he was a Senior Engineer and Cost Estimator in the Business Development Department at ENKA Construction and Industry Inc., where he also held various positions in Libyan projects from 1995 to 2004. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Eastern Mediterranean University in 1995. Abdullah is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Construction Professional (PMI- CP) with PMI, and a PMI member since 2012. He is also an Authorized Training Partner Instructor for PMI-CP, as well as a certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) and Earned Value Professional (EVP) with AACE International. In 2019, he was admitted as a Fellow (FCIArb) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in the UK. Abdullah is a member of SAVE International, holding a Value Management Associate (VMA) certification since 2021, and is also a member of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF) and the Society of Construction Law UK.
